Measuring the pulling force
Powerful design for measuring the pulling force
An innovative testing facility for the Saxion University of Applied Sciences
What is the effect of a pulling force on a composite over a longer period of time? Saxion University of Applied Sciences is doing research on this and wanted its own creep testing facility. The high price of the too extensive common installations, however, prevented them from buying it.
They requested a basic construction to generate a force of up to 20 tons. For this purpose, we created a design using hydraulic cylinders to achieve transmission of forces. Using a small load, it is possible to generate a large force. This results in a less expensive solution that fits the needs of the customer even better.
