For our company, an innovative engineering firm in mechanical engineering, we are looking for enthusiastic and driven Mechanical Engineers with a number of years of experience. Our team consists of motivated engineers, all with several years of experience in industry and machine building. We design machines and installations for companies with a focus on automating production lines and customer-specific machine construction. In addition, our engineering services also support other companies in the development of new machines and the engineering of large (often international) projects. The work will consist of designing and calculating new machines, installations and automation solutions for customers from various industries. This often concerns machines and equipment for production companies that are equipped with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric drives.

What are you going to do?

The daily activities include:

  • Designing new machines and installations
  • Elaborating the design in 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
  • Selection of drive components
  • Make 2D drawing package
  • Guiding suppliers during the realization of your design
  • Testing prototypes and proof of principle setups
  • Supporting the assembly and construction of the machines

Within the team you are responsible for a project or machine. In addition to the design, you will often also supervise the construction and commissioning of the installation.

Job requirements

  • HBO/WO degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experience with 3D CAD drawing, preferably SolidWorks
  • Experience in executing production drawings
  • Because of the small team, we expect broad employability
  • Good communication skills
  • Dutch and English in speech and writing
  • Living in the Netherlands
