Job description

Our team consists of motivated engineers, all with several years of experience in industry and mechanical engineering. We design machines and installations for companies with a focus on automating production lines and customer-specific machine construction. In addition, with our engineering services we also support other companies in the development of new machines and the engineering of large (often international) projects.

The work will consist of designing and calculating new machines, installations and automation solutions for customers from various industries. This often concerns machines and equipment for production companies that are equipped with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drives.

What are you going to do?

Daily activities include:

· Designing new concepts for machines and installations.
· Carrying out strength calculations.
· Project management and coordination.
· Developing machine control concepts.
· Developing the design in 3D-CAD (SolidWorks).
· Design and calculate drive concepts.
· Selection of drive components.
· Consult with customers about technical solution.
· Support suppliers during the realization of your design.
· Testing prototypes and proof of principle setups.
· Support with assembly and construction of the machines.
· Supervising construction and commissioning.

Within the team you are responsible for a project or machine. In addition to the design, you often also supervise the construction and commissioning of the installation.

Job requirements

· At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering
· HBO/WO education in mechanical engineering or similar
· Experience with 3D CAD drawing, preferably SolidWorks
· Experience with carrying out strength calculations with a FEM package
· Due to the small team, we expect broad employability
· Good communication skills
· Sufficient knowledge of the English language
· Dutch and English spoken and written
· Living in the Netherlands
