For our company specializing in custom-built machinery, we are looking for a driven project manager for our mechanical engineering projects. With our enthusiastic team of technicians, we develop and build customer-specific machines, robotic solutions, and production lines. We manage the entire process—from conceptual design and engineering to assembly and commissioning—completely in-house. Acquisition in response to this vacancy is not appreciated.
ApplyAs a Project Manager in Mechanical Engineering, you are the key link between clients, engineers, and production. You oversee projects both internally and externally from A to Z, ensuring they are completed within the set planning, budget, and quality requirements. You have strong technical insight and a proactive attitude that helps bring projects to success.
Daily activities include:
Coordinate and monitor projects from concept to delivery
Support and guide the engineering team
Maintain contact with clients and suppliers
Monitor and control budgets, deadlines, and quality requirements
Identify and minimize project risks
Ensure delivery times and progress are met
Report project progress to stakeholders
What we ask
A completed technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field)
At least 10 years of work experience in mechanical engineering
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
A practical, hands-on mindset
Experience with mechanical engineering projects
Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
Good command of both Dutch and English
