For our company specializing in customer-specific machinery, we are looking for a driven leader to oversee the assembly of our machines both in our workshop and at customer sites. With our enthusiastic team of technicians, we develop and build custom machines, robotic solutions, and production lines. The entire process—from conceptual design and engineering to assembly and commissioning—is carried out entirely in-house. Acquisition in response to this vacancy is not appreciated.

Job description

As the Workshop & Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the assembly process in our workshop. You ensure that all assembly tasks are carried out efficiently, accurately, and according to schedule. You will also contribute to quality improvements and help identify opportunities for process optimization.

What are you going to do?

Daily activities include:

  • Serve as a hands-on team leader in the workshop

  • Coordinate and schedule tasks within the workshop

  • Monitor quality and project progress

  • Build, mount, and assemble machines

  • Optimize assembly processes and suggest improvements

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering

  • Manage inventory and required materials

  • Lead the on-site assembly team at customer locations

  • Plan and coordinate on-site activities

  • Report progress, results, and potential issues to management

  • Act as point of contact for clients both on-site and in the workshop

Job requirements

What we ask

  • At least a vocational (MBO) level of education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in machine assembly or production

  • Experience in assembly processes and team leadership

  • Knowledge of production and safety standards

  • Welding knowledge

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

  • Hands-on mindset and a team player
